Two Questions God is Asking

God is really calling us to move when He is moving in this season without hesitation! He is saying "I will challenge you in this season and give you no rest without obedience." Don't look smaller than God wants you to see.

Two questions I heard Him speak...
  1. When I say move, will you remove all hesitation and do what I ask?
  2. Will you pull out of that place called comfortable because what I am calling you to in this season IS uncomfortable?
God is putting a demand on those who can answer "yes" to the two questions above to not linger once God has spoken to move, He will push you to move with Him but He cannot pull you against your fleshly will.

Don't miss God's timing for you through hesitation and your desires of the flesh or even people pleasing (simply not wanting to hurt or disappoint someone.)

WE WILL MISS OUT IF WE LINGER IN THIS SEASON!

Maybe God is requiring you to move to a new place but your heart lingers where you are because of relationships but you cannot remain where you are any longer because it is holding you back from perfected destiny.

Our settling/lingering will cost us and we will never know what was on the top of the mountain God was trying to send us to that we were afraid to climb because of what we would lose along the way.

Read Genesis 19 when you have a chance. As I have been pondering on this chapter recently several things have stood out to me.
  • Lot was covered through Abraham's covenant. Our covering matters, Abraham's covenant is what spared Lot, his intercession for him in Genesis 18.
  • When it's time to move...MOVE
  • Genesis 19:15-16 talks about the angels urging Lot to hurry and get out but v.16 says "while he lingered." Lot's heart did not want to leave.
  • Again the covenant of Abraham spared Lot and the angels had to seize Lot and his family and bring them out of the city.
  • Lot refuses to go where God is trying to send him and settles for less in the city of Zoar which means "little."
Hesitation and lack of follow-through in complete obedience really cost Lot. He ends up leaving Zoar because he was afraid there and ends up living out the rest of his days in a cave half-way up the mountain God tried to send him to when Lot first left Sodom.

God is speaking loud and clear in this season "DON'T HESITATE, DON'T LINGER, WHEN I SAY TO MOVE, TO GO A PARTICULAR WAY, GO FULLY THAT WAY AND DON'T ASK ME FOR AN EASIER WAY, DON'T ASK TO SETTLE FOR LESS THAN WHAT I NEED OF YOU."
